Design to Produce is a production approach in which the individual parts for each customer order are specially designed, transferred to the production machines and manufactured. A separate production process with a specific parts list is required for the product, even if the end product contains standard parts. Efficiency can be increased by connecting production machines. This approach is typical for the production of advertising materials and individual textiles.
The end customer can plan the design of his product directly in a browser, whereby different possibilities are presented to the user.
With the help of an integrated rule engine, an immediate feasibility check is carried out. If there is a conflict, a warning message is displayed. Suggestions for improvement and alternatives can be proposed.

The networking of production planning with WebCAD makes it possible to check the availability of the machinery. This creates the basis for optimizing production management.

After production, the product is packed and shipped to the customer.
